Friends of Colin Executive Director, Ryan McGann accepted a check for $565 from the St. Michael's and Theresa Youth Ministry Program out of St. Michael's Church in Cranford, NJ. The youth group donated the funds raised by their annual Mid-Winter Ball to the Friends of Colin. Ryan accepted the donation at the group's end of the year celebration. As an alumni of the group Ryan delivered an update on the progression of Pediatric Cancer and a thank you to the group for their dedicated support towards the Friends of Colin. Thank you STMTYM!

The Friends of Colin are working together with the Cranford High Performing Arts to present the 2014 Call for a Cure Benefit Concert. The Friends of Colin have totaled the funds generate from the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. We are proud to announce that this years event saw not only over 140 participants but also record breaking donated funds. We raised $4,400. Thank you to all the participants, volunteers and donors who made this amazing event possible!!

The Friends of Colin have announced the 3rd Annual Colin Maher Easter Egg Hunt will take place on March 23rd 2013. The Hunt will again be hosted at Hanson Park and check-in will begin at 10:30 with the start beginning promptly at 11am. Registration can be completed online, through email, by paper registration form or on the day of.

The 2012 Research Donation was given to Dr. Toretsky at the Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Toretsky was deeply interested in the Friends' background and was more than happy to be interviewed about Ewing sarcoma. Footage from the interview will be used in an upcoming video as part of the Fall Awareness Campaign. We cannot thank him enough for the work he is doing in the field.

Numerous teams came out to compete in the Friends of Colin Soccer Tournament. Despite the competition, everyone had a great time as they helped fight Ewing sarcoma. T-shirts are still for sale for $10 for anyone who wants one. Big thanks to Megan Byrnes and the Rotary Club for getting the event together.

Call for a Cure Benefit Concert showcased numerous Cranford High talents playing in memory of Colin. The concert served to raise awareness and funds to combat Ewing sarcoma through the Friends of Colin.
